A Class 5 building classification is an office building used for professional or commercial purposes, and excludes buildings of Class 6, 7, 8 or 9.
Examples of Class 5 buildings include single and multi-storey office buildings such as buildings used as an office for professionals such as general administration, sales, bookkeepers, accountants, architects, engineers, lawyers and government agencies.
Class 5 office buildings typically include desks, workstations, meeting rooms, ancillary kitchens and associated amenities.
