Introduction

As a pre-sales engineer you will be working with our team to prepare solutions, designs, estimates and a bill of materials necessary for the repair, alteration or addition to a fire safety system.

The day-to-day responsibilities include drawing in your experience and knowledge to assist our customers with solutions and quotations necessary to keep their fire safety systems operating correctly.

This is an opportunity to gain exposure to all facets of fire safety from, fire sprinkler systems, fire detection and alarm systems, passive fire safety, security and general fire protection. This will allow the right candidate to broaden their knowledge and be a well rounded team player.

Being a dynamic business at the pointy end of our industry, you will also be required to stretch a little and take on additional responsibilities as they arise from time to time.

Job Details

We are seeking a person with broad industry experience and a general knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards AS2118, AS1670, AS1851, AS2293, AS2220 and AS2419.

We are particularly interested in employing people with current relevant experience in the fire protection industry.

As the ideal candidate you bring extensive experience in fire detection and alarm system design, installation and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the relevant Australian Standards, Building Code, and established industry contacts and credibility.

Work Location

Our office is based in Notting Hill however there will be some travel around the Melbourne metropolitan area meeting with our customers and technicians on site.
