Systems Administrator & Support (Part Time)

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day management of various Linux systems, servers, desktops, laptops, network appliances, broadband and of course ''users''.
Some of our Linux systems include; Linux, SAMBA, Apache, PHP, Drupal, Asterisk, MySQL.
In addition, you will also be required to maintain a number of users who utilise Windows XP and Microsoft Office amongst other various applications.
Skills Requirements
- First class Linux systems administration experience
- Strong knowledge of email (Scalix admin support would be great)
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of network security
- Knowledge of hardware, servers, switches, firewalls, VoIP, etc
- Actively monitor to ensure servers do not go down
- Backup system development and management
Qualifications
Educational requirements is not a priority however you must be able to demonstrate your experience and problem solving abilities. The right candidate will be required to provide examples of their experience along with references.
